Snarky Puppy’s first concert tours reportedly came during 2007, where the band performed twice including a visit to Granada Theater on September 27, where they played with Dumpstaphunk.
The band played infrequent concerts after that period, until things changed from 2013 – 2016 when the band played a total of over 220 concerts total. This includes traditional shows like their legendary appearance at Forum Melbourne in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on June 9, 2016. But they also played at some of the world’s biggest music festivals and events. Which some of the most notable include the 2016 Stockholm Jazz Festival on October 18, 2013 in Sweden, the Cartagena Jazz Festival in 2014 at Auditorio El Batel in Cartagena, Spain. Or the Suwannee Hulaween 2016 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. But some fans claim that the best performance by Snarky Puppy came on September 3, 2016, when the band performed at the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival.
Fans expected the band to continue this rise into the turn of the decade, but the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered plans for live shows during 2020. But after a slow year in 2021, the band returned to form with 40 concerts planned and played in 2022 and 14 concerts scheduled for the 2023 season.
